Elephants of Etosha
This was one of those magical moments for a photographer when you are in the right place at the right time … and you press the right buttons!
This herd of elephants had arrived at the Okauhuejo waterhole in the Etosha Game Reserve late in the day at the height of the dry season. After they had slaked their thirst in the waters, they headed over to a dusty area and proceeded to create their own dust storm, blowing huge amounts of dust over themselves until they could hardly be seen against the setting sun.
